Ben hiking in the White Mountains

Sip. Explore. Repeat.

Hi, I’m Ben, the founder of Birchstone Coffee Co.

I’ve called New Hampshire home for most of my life, and like many New Englanders, I’ve always found comfort and inspiration in the natural beauty around us. Whether it’s a quiet sunrise in the White Mountains or a stormy afternoon on the coastline of Acadia National Park, the outdoors has shaped who I am. Hiking, exploring, and capturing those landscapes through photography are some of my greatest joys.

And through it all, there’s always been coffee. For me, a cup of coffee isn’t just a morning routine—it’s a way to slow down, reflect, and connect.

Over the years, I realized I wanted to create something that brought all of these passions together: a love for the outdoors, an appreciation for community, and, of course, really good coffee.

That’s how Birchstone Coffee Co. was born—an espresso catering experience designed to bring handcrafted coffee to weddings, events, and gatherings across New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and the Seacoast region.

Instead of opening a café, I wanted to bring coffee to the people. The Birchstone espresso cart was built with intention—clean lines, natural materials, and a welcoming design that fits beautifully into any event, from coastal weddings to backyard celebrations.

The name Birchstone is a nod to my roots. New Hampshire is known as the Granite State, and the white birch is both our state tree and the street I grew up on—Birch Drive. Together, “Birch” and “Stone” represent the place that shaped me and the spirit I wanted this company to carry forward: strong, natural, and deeply connected to home.

Birchstone Coffee Co. isn’t just about serving espresso—it’s about creating moments. It’s an invitation to pause, connect, and enjoy something crafted with care.

Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to share this journey with you.

At Birchstone Coffee Co., we believe exceptional espresso begins with exceptional roasting. That’s why we collaborate with local specialty roasters who share our dedication to quality, consistency, and sustainability.

By partnering with talented roasters here in New Hampshire, we’re able to serve coffee that reflects craftsmanship and care—coffee that elevates every event while staying true to our local roots. Each espresso we pour is a blend of great ingredients, expert roasting, and thoughtful preparation.

Beyond great coffee, Birchstone is built on connection—to people, community, and the outdoors. As part of our mission, we pledge to donate 1% of profits to local nonprofits that protect and preserve outdoor spaces across New England.

These organizations help maintain the trails, forests, and coastlines that inspire us—and we’re proud to give back to the places that make this region home.
